APPLICATION DESCRIPTION

This is a straight shaped, carbon end effector with two retaining sections at each end. It is made by a double layer of 1.5 mm carbon laminate, and replaces a soft metal original part with peek vacuum sections.

Basically our part is more durable than the bendable original, and the shape of vacuum pads gives better retainment of the wafer. The picture is about the 1.0 release, with a single vacuum pad for each side. The final release has an additional pad in the mid section to avoid wafer movement during rotation.
