APPLICATION DESCRIPTION

This is a half fork shaped, carbon end effector. It is made by a single layer of 1.3 mm carbon laminate, and replaces a steel original part with peek vacuum pads. A milling in the holder area is provided to make the mounting section thinner in order to assure the interchangeability with the 1 mm thick original part.

Basically our part is more durable than the bendable original. The teflon pads vacuum distribution is made to assure better grip and to optimize the handling. Teflon contact is better than the direct metal contact to avoid scratches on wafer surface.
